Minister Visits CCI Purchase Center, Pulls Up Officials For Not Using Moisture Machines

Hyderabad, Nov.23 (Maxim News): Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy today pulled up officials concerned for not using moisture machines at CCI purchase centers in Siddipet.

Expressing anguish, the minister asked the officials to ensure MSP to procured cotton produce from the farmers. He made a surprise visit to the spot and was surprised to know non-availability of moisture machines. The minister interacted with the farmers and said they would get minimum support price for the cotton sold. He also asked the CCI and other officials of Agriculture to coordinate and ensure MSP by using necessary machines and equipment. (Maxim News)
