Hyderabad Police Launches Free Last Ride Service For Covid Patient Bodies

Hyderabad: The City Police on Monday launched its free ‘Last Ride Service’ for the transport of Covid and non Covid-19 bodies in the city.

City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, launching the programme, said the service would be extended to the poor and needy people. The Hyderabad City Police and ‘Feed the Needy’ organization would be jointly operating the service.

“As per scientific procedure, the body will be shifted to the place of destination. After every ride, the vehicle will be sanitized. A driver and an assistant wearing PPE kits will be available with the vehicle,” Anjani Kumar said.

Thanking the ‘Feed the Needy’ organization for coming forward, the Commissioner said to avail the service, people could call on 7995404040 or 8499843545. The service would be available between 8 am and 6 pm every day.
