Alai Balai Program Held at Jalavihar

Hyderabad, Oct.17 (Maxim News): The popular Alai Balai program was held at Jala Vihar in the city today. The program was organized by the Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya’s daughter Vijayalaxmi. Dattatreya used to hold the program every year before being elevated to the pair of the governor.

Several prominent persons of the country and state like Vice President of the country M. Venkaiah Naidu, Governor of the state Tamilisai Soundararajan, Himachal Pradesh Governor Rajendra Viswanath, Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, state ministers Mahamood Ali, Srinivas Yadav, MLC Kavitha, Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan, Bharat Biotech Chairman Krishna Eella and others took part in the program .

The governor of the state inaugurated the cultural programs on the occasion. She also danced along with women after inaugurating the cultures events. The Vice President of the country M. Venkaiah Naidu performed Pooja at Jammu tree and to goddess Durga . All Covid protocols were in place at the event. The guests at the event greeted each other instead of hugging each other by keeping in view of the Covid protocol.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Venkaiah Naidu said that the main objective of the Alai Balai program was to bring all on platform irrespective of their caste, religion, language and regional feelings and move forward in a united manner.

He said that the responsibility to protect the culture and ancient traditions of the country lies on the shoulders of all the people of India. Referring to Batukamma and Bonalu festivals, he said that the two festivals would reflect Telangana state culture.

Stating that the country is gradually coming out Covid virus pandemic, he said that all the people of the country should still need to be on alert mode. He urged the people to follow covid virus protocol to prevent the spread of the virus. (Maxim News)
