WHO alerts new warning over new Covid-19 Omicron variant

The World Health Organization (WHO) has issued warnings to all governments about the new Omicron covid-19 variant‘s threat. It claimed that the new variety was rapidly spreading and urged all countries to speed up the vaccination process.

The globe is still in the grip of the most severe health crisis in a century, according to WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, despite the fact that illness can be prevented, recognised, and treated.

The WHO’s director-general also urged WHO Member countries to support the goal of vaccinating 40% of the population in each country by the end of this year and 70% by the middle of next year.

The UN agency, on the other hand, has sent a special message to all of its member countries, urging them to adhere to proper health standards in order to avoid problems in the future.
