Kisan congress president visits farmer’s family
Hyderabad, Dec.11 (Maxim News): The state president of Telangana state Kisan Congress Anvesh Reddy today visited the residence of farmer Ravi Kumar , who had committed suicide due to financial problems , and consoled their family members . He was accompanied by Medak district party president Tirupathi Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion, he alleged that the suicide of Ravi was a murder committed by the state government. He said that the statement of the state government that the farmers should not cultivate paddy was creating confusion among their minds. He asked what the officials of agriculture department were doing when the state rulers of the state were not caring for the farmers’ problems .
He alleged that both state and central governments were making the farmers as scope goats to protect their vested interests. He said that the state government did not have an agriculture plan to help the farmers . (Maxim News)
