Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy to join BJP on August 21

Hyderabad, Aug.5 (Maxim News): Congress MLA K. Rajagopal Reddy, who quit from the Congress party, has decided to join BJP on August 21 in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Rajagopal Reddy made this revelation while speaking to media persons after meeting Shah in Delhi. Stating that funds are being released by the State government whenever there is a by-election in any constituency, he said the verdict of Munugodu Assembly constituency was going to be an eye opener for Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. Alleging that the ruling party was not extending its support for the development of his constituency, he said the development of the Assembly constituencies had been confined to Siddipet and Siricilla Assembly constituencies in the State.

He said the verdict of Munugodu would also usher in a new change in the politics of the State and hoped that the people of his constituency would stand by him. Commenting on his elder brother and Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, he said his brother would also take a good decision very soon. He said his brother had not gone for today’s public meeting of the Congress party in his constituency Munugodu. He claimed there was no respect for those who worked for the Congress party and made it clear they never gave importance to posts. He claimed that some leaders were not able to digest the image and reputation of Komatireddy brothers.

Rajagopal Reddy targeted TPCC Chief A. Revanth Reddy and said Congress party had gone into the hands of some wrong leaders and added that the TPCC chief’s post was handed over to a leader, who came from a different political party while wondering if they have to work hard to make him as the CM of the State? He said Revanth Reddy had committed a big mistake by abusing the Komatireddy brothers and added that the TPCC chief did not have credibility and character in political life. (Maxim News)
