CM KCR extends Dussehra greetings to people

Hyderabad, Oct.4 (NSS): Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) today extended greetings to the people on the occasion of Dussehra festival. He said the Dussehra festival was being celebrated across the country as a sign of the establishment of Dharma and as Vijaya Dasami which brings victories.

It is a great tradition that people spot Palapitta (Indian Roller bird) and worship the sacred Jammi tree as an auspicious sign on Dussehra festival day.

The CM KCR said the specialty of Dussehra festival is exchange of Jammi leaf like gold, seek blessings of elders and participate in Alai Balay to express love and affection. The Chief Minister said the Telangana administration, which put the State in the forefront and stood as a role model in the country, achieved development within short time.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao wished that the country will move on the path of progress with the spirit of Telangana. On the Dussehra day, which is a sign of success, CM KCR prayed that all the tasks undertaken will draw fruitful results. The Chief Minister said the spirit of Vijaya Dashami will be continued. On the occasion of Dussehra, Chief Minister wished all the people to prosper with happiness and peace. (NSS)
