Yet to receive any communication from Governor’s office: Sabitha

Hyderabad, Nov.8 (NSS): : Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy said she has not received any communication from the Governor’s office to discuss on the matter of common recruitment board for the appointment of teaching faculty in Telangana universities.

Responding to the media reports that the Governor has summoned her to clarify whether the Bill on common recruitment board for teaching faculty of universities is tenable, Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy here on Tuesday said that she had not received any information in this regard and would respond only if anything is received from the Governor’s office.

She also lashed out at the Governor’s office for giving leaks to the media without informing the education department and suggested it to stop misleading the people with unnecessary rumours.

The Governor’s office on Monday said that the summons were issued in a letter to the State government seeking clarification on the constitution of the common recruitment board for the appointment of teaching faculty in Telangana universities and was also asked to meet Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy in this regard.
