Kamareddy Collector Clarifies On Proposed Master Plan

Kamareddy/Hyderabad, Jan 7 (Maxim News): Kamareddy District Collector Jitesh Patial has given clarification on the proposed master plan saying that no one’s land will be taken and the draft master plan is just in the initial state and will be finalized only after collecting opinions of the stakeholders within 60 days.

Speaking to press persons, here today, the District Collector said that the town master plan draft dispute is getting worse day by day, there are protests against the master plan proposals, and farmers’ agitations have been going on for month, he said no one’s land will be taken and everyone’s opinions will be collected and the process of collecting the opinion is not yet completed.

The Collector said that the opinions can be given till January 11, and roads were also shown in the old master plan, he said if anybody’s lands were lost, they can bring it to the notice of the authorities, still, the lands are in the hands of the farmers. He clarified that no one’s land will be lost with the new master plan, he said that so far, thousands of objections have been received on the new master plan and farmers have full right to raise objections

Industrial zones are not land acquisitions. Officials will consider the objections and write remarks, this is only a proposal in the first stage, as long as the industrial zone is declared, the crop fields will not be seized, said the Collector. (Maxim News)
