Kamareddy Master Plan Case Hearing Adjourned To Jan 11

Hyderabad: 40 farmers of 2nd Ward Rameswarapalli approached the High Court against the Kamareddy Municipal Master Plan. They filed a writ petition that their land area was declared a recreation zone without consulting them.

Justice Madhavi Devi took up the hearing on this petition and Advocate Srujan Reddy presented the master plan map to the Court on behalf of the petitioners and heard arguments. The judge asked the Advocate General AG on behalf of the government for an explanation and requested time to file a counter in this case. Accepting the AG’s appeal, the judge adjourned the further hearing to January 11 (Wednesday)

Meanwhile, Praja Shanthi Party President KA Paul, who appeared before the High Court during the trial, tried to make his arguments heard. But the judge rejected his arguments. Already there are ongoing agitations under Rythu JAC to cancel the master plan. The deadline for objections will end on January 11th, later it will be discussed in the Council. As the matter of the Master Plan is under the purview of the court, there is a possibility that the council meeting will be held only after the arguments and verdict in the court. (Maxim News)
