Revanth Open Letter To KCR On Burdening Poor Consumers With ACD Charges

Hyderabad, Jan 25 (Maxim News): TPCC president Revanth Reddy has written an open letter to Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao on the burden of electricity charges in the name of ACD charges, with this the BRS government headed by the Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao making hole in the pocket of the poor.

Revanth Reddy criticized that nothing has happened in Telangana, no person’s standard of living has been improved except your nine years of ineffective governance, debt burden, and financial crisis. Government institutions have gone bankrupt due to your family’s corruption and commissions. To cover up your inefficiency and system failure, people are being burdened in the name of electricity ACD charges. in the past, a burden was imposed in the name of development charges, education cesses, and green cesses. Revanth stated in his letter.

Revanth Reddy demanded to tell us why power companies have gone into losses of 60 thousand crores under the administration of KCR, who has so far banging that he is providing 24 hours electricity like nowhere else in the country. Is not it true that the government itself is in arrears of 20 thousand crores? he asked.

He said it is unforgivable that the government is determined to rob the poor and middle-class people in the name of electricity deposits when people are struggling due to the impact of Corona, fuel prices, and the increase in rates of essentials.

Revanth wanted that the Congress party will take action on behalf of the people if the government does not withdraw in this regard. (Maxim News)
