Kamareddy Master Plan: HC Adjourned The Hearing To Feb 22
Hyderabad, Jan 25 (Maxim News): The High Court adjourned the hearing on the Kamareddy Master Plan. The counsel on behalf of the State government which heard the arguments on the petition asked the Court that the government has not yet taken any decision on canceling the master plan.
The Judge brought to the notice that the Municipal Council had passed a resolution to cancel it. He said that the government has not yet taken a decision on this. According to Section 14 of the Town Planning Act, it is up to the government to decide whether to consider the master plan or not. However, the High Court asked the government to take a decision on the Municipal Council decision and ordered the government to file a counter with complete details. The case was adjourned to February 22 for further hearing. (Maxim News)
