MTV Super Fight League is gearing up for its second edition in March 2018. The league that focuses on mixed martial arts has caught the attention of many Bollywood stars, with the likes of Ajay Devgn, Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Tiger Shroff having bought stakes in the participating teams. The latest to join the bandwagon is Arbaaz Khan, having become the new co-owner of Gujarat Warriors.
Khan says his interest in mixed martial arts, from his growing up years, spurred the decision. “I have been following mixed martial arts since high school. I was privy to the first season of SFL and was quite impressed with how the league was conducted.” The actor-producer says that it is refreshing to see other sports have their moment in the sun, in a country that has been obsessed with cricket for decades.
