A 29-year-old man committed suicide allegedly due to financial problems.

According to LB Nagar police, the deceased, M Srinu, resorted to the extreme step by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Sai Nagar Colony on Wednesday night. He came to his house in inebriated condition and took the extreme step after having an argument with his wife over some financial matters.

In another case, M Venkateshwar Swamy, 48, of Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, who had consumed poison on August 16, died at the Gandhi Hospital on Wednesday night. He was a rag picker and resorted to the extreme step due to financial problems, according to Dundigal police.

In a separate case, J Deepak, 28, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling in inebriated condition at his residence in Addagutta on Wednesday night. He was reportedly depressed as his wife got separated from his due to his habit of consuming liquor, Tukkaramgate police said.

In a different case, Md Abdul Khader, 31, allegedly committed suicide by consuming some unknown poison. According to Dabirpura police, Khader returned to his home in Azampura on Wednesday and collapsed near the door. His wife Reshma rushed him to Osmania General Hospital where he died a few hours after admission.
