MLA G Sayanna Is No More, KCR Expressed Shock

MLA G Sayanna | Hyderabad, Feb 19 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao expressed shock over the sudden demise of Sayanna and recalled the long association with him.

CM KCR extended his condolences to the family members. He said Sayanna had served the people of Secunder in various capacities and was rewarded by people who elected him as their MLA for five terms.

BRS Working president and Minister K. Tarak Rama Rao extended his condolences to the family and friends of the Secunderabad Cantonment MLA on his sudden demise and prayed that his soul rests in peace.

He said the senior legislator was a very humble and polite leader who always worked for the well-being of the people of Secunderabad Cantonment.

Telangana Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy, Ministers T. Harish Rao, Talasani Srinivas Yadav. S. Niranjan Reddy, A Indrakaran Reddy, Vemula Prashanth Reddy several other BRS legislators and leaders, extended their condolences over the demise of Sayanna.

Secunderabad Cantonment MLA Sayanna (72) passed away due to illness. He has been suffering from illness for some time. He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Yashoda Hospital, Secunderabad. He is suffering from kidney and heart problems. He was admitted to the hospital on the 18th of this month due to a heart attack. Sayanna has a wife and three sons. He has a record of winning MLA five times.

There was a deep tragedy in Telangana after the death of a ruling BRS party MLA. Sayanna, who worked for a long time in the Telugu Desam Party.. won consecutively in 1994, 1999, and 2004. he lost in 2009. In the 2014 elections held after the state bifurcation, he once again won as the MLA of Secunderabad Cantonment as a TDP candidate.

Later he joined the ruling BRS party. He contested as a BRS candidate in the 2018 elections and won.

Sayanna started his political career with TDP. He won as an MLA four times on behalf of the Telugu Desam Party and once on behalf of the TRS Party.

In 2015, he worked as a member of the governing body of TTD. After that, Sayanna joined the pink nest. In the 2018 elections, he won the elections by defeating the Congress candidate Sarve Satyanarayana by a margin of 37,568 votes and entered the Legislative Assembly for the fifth time. Sayanna’s daughter Nandita Lasya was also elected as a corporator once. (Maxim News)
