PM Modi’s ‘Chota Bhai’ CM Revanth Must Clarify On Gujarat Model: BRS

“The BRS party has consistently asserted that Revanth Reddy is an RSS ideologue. He maintains connections with anyone rooted in RSS and Sangh Parivar. His inability to restrain his joy, excitement, and emotions on the dais with the Prime Minister in Adilabad resulted in expressing his admiration for PM Modi as ‘Bade Bhai.’ No Chief Minister has ever addressed the Prime Minister with such personal familiarity. CM Revanth seemingly aimed to convey that he shares the same roots as PM Modi, i.e., RSS,” Abdullah Sohail stated in a media release on Tuesday.
Sohail emphasized that CM Revanth Reddy’s reference to PM Modi as ‘Bade Bhai‘ validates his claim that Revanth Reddy remains mentally and emotionally connected to the RSS despite leading a Congress Government in Telangana.

The BRS leader also demanded that CM Revanth Reddy clarify the ‘Gujarat Model‘, which he mentioned before the Prime Minister. “The Sangh Parivar coined the term ‘Gujarat Model’ after the Godhra riots of 2002. BJP leaders used this term to instill fear among minorities by recalling the Gujarat communal riots’ Muslim massacre. The ‘Gujarat Model’ is unrelated to the State’s development or growth, as Gujarat lags behind many states in these aspects. By seeking PM Modi’s cooperation to implement the Gujarat Model in Telangana, CM Revanth Reddy has conveyed that his government aligns with the RSS ideology,” he said.
Abdullah Sohail urged the people of Telangana, particularly minorities, to take note of Revanth Reddy’s statements and actions, understanding that he is implementing the RSS agenda in the State. The BRS leader also condemned Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu‘s statement claiming that the original name of Hyderabad was Bhagyanagar. He argued that Bhatti’s speech supports the BJP’s demand to rename the historic Hyderabad city as Bhagyanagar. Stating that Hyderabad was constructed from scratch and nothing existed before its formation in 1591, he advised Bhatti Vikramarka to delve into history before creating confusion over Hyderabad’s original name, thereby strengthening the BJP’s narratives.
