Hyderabad, July 23 (Maxim News): In a dramatic political twist, Goshamahal MLA T. Raja Singh, who had recently resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), appears to be making a surprising U-turn, triggering intense speculation about his return to the party.
Raja Singh, known for his fiery speeches and right-wing stance, had exited the BJP amid internal disagreements. However, recent remarks made by the MLA suggest a change of tone and intent. Speaking to the media, he praised the BJP as the only party that stands for “Dharma,” adding that no other political formation could accommodate or tolerate his ideological stand.
“Except the BJP, all other parties in Telangana are willing to align with AIMIM,” he said, ruling out any possibility of joining such parties. Emphasizing his loyalty, he stated that he remains committed to working under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
His statement has set off discussions on social media, with many interpreting it as a signal of rapprochement with the BJP leadership. Party insiders suggest that several key leaders within the state BJP are receptive to Raja Singh’s renewed allegiance, viewing it as a boost to the party’s Hindutva credentials in Telangana.
Amid this backdrop, sources indicate that BJP leaders have also pulled up Madhavi Latha, the Hyderabad Lok Sabha candidate who had previously criticized Raja Singh. She has reportedly been advised to remain silent on the issue to avoid further internal discord.
With political realignments gaining momentum ahead of future elections, the buzz around Raja Singh’s potential re-entry into the BJP continues to grow, making him once again a focal point in Telangana’s political landscape.
