Rajendra Nagar Police Station Honored With The Best Police Station Award

Hyderabad, Jan 18 (Maxim News): In a commendable achievement, the Rajendra Nagar Police Station, under the leadership of Station House Officer (SHO) B. Nagendra Babu, has been conferred with the prestigious ‘Best Police Station‘ award by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

The accolade was presented on January 5, 2024, during the Directors General of Police (DGs) conference held in Jaipur, where the Union Home Minister acknowledged the exemplary efforts of Inspector B. Nagendra Babu and his team.

Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, Avinash Mohanty,  expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the entire team of Rajendranagar police station for this remarkable achievement here today.

The distinguished team includes AD CP Sadhana Rashmi Perumal, ACP Gangadhar, and Admin SI Ramesh, all of whom played crucial roles in earning this prestigious recognition.

Speaking on the achievement, CP Cyberabad Avinash Mohanty emphasized, “This achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the entire team at Rajendranagar Police Station.” He further commended Inspector Nagendra Babu for receiving the top honor, stating, “Their commitment to serving the community and upholding the law is an inspiration to all.”

The selection process for the ‘Best Police Station’ award involved a rigorous evaluation of 17,000 entries from across the country. The Union Home Ministry considered various parameters such as crime detection rate, investigation quality, community engagement, infrastructure maintenance, and adherence to human rights guidelines. The evaluation process utilized the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network System (CCTNS), shortlisting 75 police stations from the thousands of entries.

Rajendranagar Police Station’s recognition as the best in the country for 2023 underscores its exemplary performance in maintaining law and order, efficient crime detection, and active community involvement. This accolade not only honors the individual efforts of the officers but also reflects the collective commitment of the entire police station in serving the community and upholding the principles of justice.
