Shabbir Ali Assures Support To Haj Pilgrims In Kamareddy

Hyderabad, April 13: Mohammed Ali Shabbir on Monday assured full support to Haj pilgrims from Telangana at a training camp in Kamareddy. He said the government would provide all facilities for a safe and smooth pilgrimage.

He inaugurated the Haj training camp organised by the district Haj Society at Lakshmidevi Function Hall in Devunipalli. The session saw strong participation from pilgrims across the district.

The training began in the morning and continued till 2 pm. Pilgrims attended in large numbers and received detailed guidance.

Religious scholars explained key rituals and procedures of Haj. They also briefed pilgrims on travel, accommodation, and logistics. Moreover, they highlighted precautions to ensure safety during the journey.

Scholars also addressed possible challenges during the pilgrimage. They explained measures to handle such issues effectively. Special arrangements were made for women pilgrims, including separate seating and guidance.

Pilgrims interacted with scholars and clarified their doubts. Many said the session would help them perform Haj properly and safely.

Minority leaders and Municipal Chairperson Ippa Uma Rani attended the event. They extended their wishes to the pilgrims.

Earlier, Shabbir Ali attended a welfare programme in Nizamabad. Mahesh Kumar Goud also participated in the event.

Officials distributed welfare benefits and CMRF cheques to eligible beneficiaries. Under Shaadi Mubarak, 404 beneficiaries received over Rs 4 crore. Meanwhile, 187 beneficiaries received over Rs 1.87 crore under Kalyana Lakshmi.

In total, authorities distributed cheques worth about Rs 5.91 crore. Additionally, 54 beneficiaries received Rs 32 lakh under the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Shabbir Ali said the government prioritises welfare despite financial constraints. He added that schemes aim to reduce financial burden on poor families.

He said the CMRF supports families facing medical and emergency expenses. He also stressed the need to ensure only genuine beneficiaries receive aid.

Mahesh Kumar Goud said the government fulfilled key promises quickly. He highlighted ongoing welfare schemes and development programmes.

He added that transparent delivery ensures benefits reach people directly without intermediaries.
