Vande Bharat Express Train Connecting Bengaluru And Hyderabad To Launch Soon

The Indian Railways is set to launch another high-speed Vande Bharat Express, further enhancing connectivity between Bengaluru and Hyderabad. This new development comes after the successful operation of Vande Bharat trains in other parts of Karnataka, including the Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru and Bengaluru-Hubballi routes. The upcoming service is expected to significantly reduce travel time between the two major IT cities in the south.

The Vande Bharat Express will run between Bengaluru’s Yesvantpur railway station and Hyderabad’s Kacheguda railway station. It aims to provide a more comfortable and efficient mode of transportation for IT professionals, business people, and students who regularly commute between these cities. The train is equipped with modern amenities, offering a convenient and swift travel option for passengers.

Inauguration and Operations

According to reports, the trial runs for the Vande Bharat Express between Kacheguda and Dhone have already begun. The South Central Railway (SCR) officials are preparing for the train’s formal launch. The inaugural event is likely to be conducted virtually, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi expected to flag off the service on either August 6 or August 15.

Reduced Travel Time

The current train journey between Hyderabad and Bengaluru takes approximately 11 hours. However, with the introduction of the Vande Bharat Express, the travel time is expected to be significantly reduced to around 8.5 hours. The new train will depart from Kacheguda at 6 AM and reach Bengaluru at 2:30 PM, while the return journey from Yesvantpur will start at 3 PM and arrive at Kacheguda at 11:30 PM.

Conclusion

The launch of the Bengaluru-Hyderabad Vande Bharat Express is eagerly awaited as it promises to revolutionize travel between the two major tech hubs. The high-speed train is set to offer a faster, more comfortable, and more convenient mode of transportation, benefiting both passengers and the overall economy.
