Samajwadi Party mentor Mulayam Singh Yadav on Wednesday said the Bharatiya Janata Party government in Uttar Pradesh has failed to curb crime and maintain law and order.
The former Chief Minister told the media in Muradnagar, where he was meeting Aashu Malik, his loyalist and party MLC, that the BJP has failed to keep its promise to tackle crime in the five months it has been in power.
When asked about the Supreme Court’s decision on triple talaq, Mulayam Singh called it a “fair” decision.
