Construction Of Bhadrachalam Sriram Temple And Kalyanotsavam Started By Nizam Of Hyderabad: Shabbir Ali 

Hyderabad, April 17 (Maxim News): Srirama temple at Bhadrachalam and yearly Sriramasita Kalyanotsavam was started by the Nizama of Hyderabad, and this tradition has continued since  1726 said the Advisor to Government on Minorities Affairs, Mohd. Shabbir Ali.

Speaking on the occasion of the Sriram Navami celebrations, today, Mohd Shabbir Ali explained the history of the Bhadrachalam Sri Ram temple construction,  He said Vedic scholars and devotee Ramadas, had taken the money from the treasury of Gopanna who was working under the then Nizam  Lord Tanasha and constructed the temple, from the government treasury, the then Tanasha has put him in the jail.  It is said that the Tansha got the dream and returned the money. Since then, the Nizam Tanasha started the custom of sending pearl Palabras to Sri Sitaram’s Kalyanavotsavam every year from Nizam Nawab in 1726.  No matter how many governments have changed since then, this tradition continues. He said that the museum which is displayed only for one day in a year was opened and displayed speciality, said Shabbir Ali.  (Maxim News)
