Hyderabad: A notorious gang of habitual Offenders involved in a number of property offences were arrested, a net cash of RS. 30,000 was recovered from them.
The accused are Syed Imran s/o Syed Jaffar (Late), 26-years, Auto Driver r/o backside Omar Hotel, Hafez Baba Nagar;Syed Ibrahim s/o Syed Akith, 22-years, Auto Driver r/o Phisalbanda, Riyasath Nagar Market, Santosh Nagar, and Syed Nizam s/o Syed Jahangir, 23-years, Welder and Auto Driver r/o Talabkatta, Yakuthpura.
The accused persons are auto drivers and they used to commit theft of cash from the passengers travelling in their autos. For the first time, Syed Imran arrested in the year 2010 by Santosh Nagar Police. In the year 2015, the second accused was arrested by Afzalgunj Police for the similar offences.
They have committed two offences of ordinary theft in the limits of Chilkalguda Police Station and committed theft of net cash from the passengers travelling in their autos on May 1 and May 8.
On credible information, the accused persons have been apprehended at Chilkalguda X Roads today, while they were moving under suspicious circumstances with their auto and on meticulous interrogation they confessed to have committed the above offences. The stolen property including the vehicle used for the commission of offence has been recovered and seized they are being produced in the Honourable Court for judicial remand.
