The body of a 23-year-old M.Tech student, whose marriage was fixed recently, was found hanging in her residence at Attapur here in the wee hours of Thursday.
According to the Rajendranagar police, the woman, Poojitha, an M.Tech final year student in a private engineering college in the city, was suspected to have hanged herself to death with her dupatta late on Wednesday. Her parents had gone out for shopping in connection with her marriage that was fixed recently.
They returned home late and the body was found later in the night, police said, adding that the police was informed about the body around 2am.
