Telangana-Haryana Literary Exchange Festival Held At Begumpet

Hyderabad, Aug.2 (Maxim News): The Centre had launched the “Ek Bharath Shreshta Bharath” program in 29 States and seven Union Territories paved the path for integration of the Indian Union with a vision to strengthen understanding among the cultures of different States.

In this context, Telangana State has been paired with the State of Haryana and entered into a Memorandum of Understanding on October 31, 2016 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Many activities have taken place between the two States like cultural exchange, participation of parade contingents on ceremonial occasions, organizing familiarization tours etc.

The governments of Telangana and Haryana are organizing Literary Exchange festival, Photo and painting exhibition on August 3 and 4, 2018 at the Hotel Plaza at Begumpet. B. Venkatesham, IAS, Secretary of YAT & C Deptt., Nandini Siddha Reddy, Chairman, Telangana Sahitya Academy, Satyanarayana, Vice-Chancellor, Telugu University and officials of both the governments will participate.
