10 lakh new pensions sanctioned after I quit MLA post: Komatireddy Rajgopal

Hyderabad, August 12: Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy, who resigned from the Congress and his MLA seat, said on Friday that his resignation from the Munugode Assembly constituency did not go unnoticed because the TRS government approved 10 lakh new pensions across the state.

Speaking to the media here, he expressed satisfaction with the incorporation of field assistants into jobs. “Soon after I met Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the Telangana government declared Ghattuppal as mandal headquarters falling under the Munugode constituency,” he said, adding that Rs 20 lakh was granted to each village in the Munugode segment for the construction of CC roads and drains, as well as the installation of street lights.

“My resignation has proved once again that the TRS government will take up developmental works in the constituencies which will go for elections,” he said. Rajgopal stated that downfall of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) will begin with the BJP victory in Munugode. His followers were present.
