10 students, teacher injured after slipping on escalator in Banjara Hills

Hyderabad, Aug.18 (Maxim News): At least 10 school students and a teacher suffered minor injuries reportedly when they slipped and fell on a moving escalator at a multiplex in Banjara Hills on Thursday.

Sources said the students had come to the RK multiplex at Banjara Hills to watch the free screening of the ‘Gandhi’ movie as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of India’s independence. Due to some technical glitches, the escalator was suddenly stuck in the middle when the students were on its staircases, resulting in the minor injuries to them.
