10 Years Of Rigorous Imprisonment In The Dowry Death Case
Hyderabad, Nov 7 (Maxim News) XI Aditional Court at LB Nagar convicted the accused Mala Dasari Tirupathi of Upparpally for 10 years of rigorous imprisonment and fined Rs. 5,000 under the dowry case
After one year of marriage, the accused Mala Dasari Bhavani picked up quarrel with her for additional dowry at their house and bet her, the deceased vaxed on her life due to unbearable harassment of the accused for additional dowry, poured kerosine herself and set ablaze with match stick. As a result, she received serval burn injuries and died on the spot.
As per the contents of the complaint S. Venkat Reddy Inspector of Police Rajendranagar has registered a case and investigation handed over to K. Ganga Reddy ACP Rajendranagar. He took up the investigation into this case, during the investigation he arrested the accused and sent him to judicial custody, after completion of the investigation he filed a charge sheet in the court. During the trial the XI ADJ Court at LB. nagar convicted the accused Mala Dasari Tirupathi for 10 years of Rigorous imprisonment and fined Rs-5000/-
