13 TS child scientists to compete with 650 scientific projects

Telangana State NCSC Team (20 member) visit to the prestigious National Event of 24th NCSC being held at Baramati, Maharshatra State from Dec 27 to 31, 2016

Hyderabad, Dec 25 (Maxim News): A 20-member Telangana State National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) Team comprising of 13 Child Scientists, State Coordinator, State Academic Coordinator and 5 Escort Teachers is participating in the prestigious National Level Event of 24th NCSC scheduled to be held from Dec 27 to 31, 2016 at Baramati, Maharashtra state.

National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) provides a unique opportunity to the Child Scientists to present their investigatory projects and interact with eminent Scientists and thereby creates a zeal for entering into the exciting world of Science & Technology.

This year, the DST has announced the focal theme “Science, Technology & Innovation for Sustainable Development – With Special emphasis on Accessibility for Persons with Disability” for the 24th NCSC 2016 and all the Child Scientists would be presenting their projects on this theme.

Member Secretary, Telangana State Council of Science & Technology (TSCOST) acts as the State Coordinator in Telangana State for the NCSC, a nation-wide program of Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.

The 13 child scientists will be competing with around 650 scientific projects coming from all over India and also from certain SAARC and ASEAN countries.

The Child Scientists would present their projects before eminent Scientists and Academicians and would interact with them to enrich their knowledge on current research levels in their chosen fields of subject.
