15,000 Kgs Of Adulterated Ghee Seized At Ghee Manufacturing Plant

Rangareddy/Hyderabad, Sept 26 (Maxim News): Special Operation Team (SOT) police conducted raids on an adulterated ghee manufacturing center under Rajendranagar Police Station.

At a time when there was a controversy that the ghee used for making Tirumala Laddu was adulterated, the production of this adulterated ghee caused a stir. At the same time, 15 thousand kg of adulterated ghee was caught by the authorities. 

Rajendranagar SOT police conducted raids on an adulterated ghee center in Mylar Dev Palli Kattedan Industrial Estate on Thursday.

Officials found that ghee was being manufactured in an unsanitary environment and against the norms. Mylar Dev Palli Police reached the spot and are examining the equipment.  

15 thousand kg of adulterated ghee was seized. The seized material was shifted to Mylar Dev Palli Police Station by the SOT police.  The police immediately informed the food safety officials.  (Maxim News)
