2-Hour Fire Fighting Operation Controls Blaze At Katedan Plastic Unit

Hyderabad, Dec 28 (Maxim News): A fire broke out at a plastic segregation and pellet manufacturing unit at Tata Nagar in Katedan on the outskirts of the city on Sunday morning. No casualties were reported.

According to officials, the fire started in the early hours of Sunday. Local residents noticed smoke rising from the unit and alerted the police.

The Mailardevpally police informed the fire department, following which fire tenders from nearby stations rushed to the spot.

Firefighters battled the blaze for over two hours before bringing it under control. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. (Maxim News)
