Hyderabad, June 30 (Maxim News): Drunk and drive cases are on the rise in Hyderabad.  A large-scale drunk driving test was conducted on Saturday night, June 29, 2024. Drunk and drive tests were conducted on a large scale in various areas of Cyberabad Commissionerate262 people were caught. Traffic police detained 191 bikes, 11 autos, and 56 car drivers.

Of this, 12 people got a reading of more than 300 in the breathalyzer. The police seized the vehicles of all those found drunk and driving. They will be produced in court. It is known that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has ordered the police to take strict action against people who drink alcohol in public, drive drunk vehicles, and get into fights on the roads.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty said that if someone drives under the influence of alcohol causes accidents and kills people, such drug addicts will be arrested under Section 304 Part-II and sent to jail. (Maxim News)
