3 MONTH EXTENSION! Telangana Waqf Properties Get New Upload Deadline | Azharuddin

Hyderabad, Dec 16 (Maxim News)Minister for Minorities Welfare Mohd. Azharuddin has informed that the Telangana Waqf Tribunal has extended 3 months time for uploading the left over Waqf Properties on the UMEED portal.  

Speaking to press persons, along with the Advisor to Minorities Welfare Mohd. Shabbir Ali, Secretary to Minories Welfare B. Shafiullah, Chairman Telangana State Haj Committee Syed Shah Ghulam Afzal Biabani Khusro Pasha, Waf Board CEO Mohd Asadullah,  Vice Chairman and President of TMRIES Mohd Faheemuddin Qureshi and others, the Minister has informed that as per the direction of the Central government, it has been allowed to upload the Waqf properties in the UMEED Portal upto December 6.

Telangana Waqf Tribunal Extend 3 Months

He said that with the efforts and cooperation of the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Mohd. Shabbir Ali, B. Shafiullah and staff and Waqf Board, they are able to upload 46,480 properties within the time out of total 63,180, about 15,700 properties are left over, for which we have sought the time from the Central Government to give 6 months more time and he himself and the Chief Minister has written to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but could not receive any response, We have also approached the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court directed up to appear before the Waqf Tribunal. The Waqf Tribunal has extended 3 months time.

Mohd Shabbir Ali said that the work done to upload the Waqf Properties in the UMEED Portal is good but could not do fully due to non awareness of the project in the District level. He said that there is need to bring awareness among the people in the district for which effort will be made and see that all the properties are uploaded in the UMEED portal.
