37 More Basti Dawakhanas To Set Up In GHMC Limits
Hyderabad, Nov 29 (Maxim News): The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC)) has decided to set up more 37 Basti Dawakhanas in its area; 20 are already in the completion stage. So far 263 Basti Dawakhanas have been established, with this addition it will increase to 300 at the rate of 2 per ward in each 150 wards .
Apart from this, community halls within the colony would be set up in the available government buildings.
In the Basti Dawakhanas 57 types of medical services are being provided to the patients and it offers services like OP, Basic Diagnostic Tests, Pregnant and infant Tests, Immunizations, anemia, Family Planning Tests, BP, Sugar, Cancer Tests, Health Care Awareness, Chaitanya and other basic treatments, besides emergency. It will also facilitate the patients to provide better treatment by referring the patients to the government hospital for health problems. (Maxim News)
