4 Seasons Multicuisine Restaurant, Identifies Multiple Hygiene Violations: Task Force Inspects
Hyderabad, Mar 7 (Maxim News): A recent inspection by the Task Force team of Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana at the 4 Seasons Multicuisine Restaurant located in Tolichowki, Mehdi Patnam, on March 5, 2025, revealed multiple violations of health and safety standards, raising serious concerns about food safety and hygiene practices at the establishment.
The inspection uncovered a range of unsanitary conditions in the restaurant’s kitchen, storage, and washing areas:
Refrigerators were found to be in poor condition and maintained in unhygienic surroundings. Several food items in the fridge were uncovered and lacked proper labeling, a clear violation of food safety protocols. Additionally, raw meat like chicken and mutton was stored improperly, increasing the risk of contamination.
The drains in the kitchen floor were not equipped with traps to prevent contaminants from entering the system, posing a potential risk of contamination in the food preparation area.
The kitchen ceiling was found to be dark and sooty, and the flooring was patchy and littered with food waste. The walls were greasy and tiles were found to be broken in some areas, making it difficult to maintain proper hygiene. The exhaust systems and chimneys were found to be greasy and unclean, further contributing to the unsanitary working environment.
Pest Infestation: A heavy cockroach infestation was observed, with cockroaches found throughout the kitchen area. Additionally, rat feces were discovered in the storage area, indicating a significant rodent problem. (Maxim News)
