42 New Cases Reported in Telangana on Sunday

Hyderabad: Telangana on Sunday reported 42 new coronavirus positive cases taking the overall number of Covid-19 cases in the State to 1,551. Of the cases detected today, 37 positive cases were from areas under GHMC, three migrants and two persons from Rangareddy district.

Health officials also discharged 21 Covid-19 positive persons, taking the total number of persons who have recovered to 992 in the State. At present, the recovery rate of coronavirus patients is 64 per cent in the State.

At present, there are 525 active Covid-19 positive patients who are admitted to Gandhi Hospital and receiving treatment. Overall, the State has so far reported 1551 coronavirus positive cases out of which 34 persons have died due to Covid-19 while 992 patients have recovered and were discharged.

Since the travel exemptions, 57 migrants who came back to Telangana have tested positive for Covid-19.
