Chittem Narsireddy Balancing Reservoir in Maktal mandal of Nazrayana Peta district flooded due to heavy rains in upper areas. At present 2400 cusecs of flood water are coming to the project 2 gates are being lifted and the water is being released downstream. In Nagarkurnool district, 9 cm of rainfall was recorded in Thimmajipet, 8 cm in Nagarkurnool, and 7 cm in Atchampet. (Maxim News)
