5 Lakh Jobs In Banking And Finance Sector: Sridhar Babu

Hyderabad, Sept 26 (Maxim News): Minister for IT and Industries, Sridhar Babu said that in the next few years, there will be a need for five lakh employees in the banking, finance, and insurance sectors.

He said that if skilled people can be prepared to fill these vacancies, huge employment opportunities can be created in the state. He said that other BFSI training employees will get a salary of at least Rs. 25 thousand. He said that the BRS government, which was in power for the last ten years, has never been able to recognize the aspirations of the unemployed youth.

But at present, his government is focusing on employing students and youth, he said, it has been revealed that many banking, finance, and insurance organizations have expressed their readiness to provide an opportunity to get training by working at the field level for six months in the final year of degree and engineering courses.

Meanwhile, Equip company presented a cheque of Rs. 2.5 crore to CM Revanth Reddy.  The Chief Minister unveiled the Equip Skill Portal which was created with the data of the students.  Nampally MLA Majeed Hussain, MLC Balmuri Venkat, CM’s Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, Education Principal Secretary Buma Venkatesham, High Education Council Chairman Professor Limbadri, and Technical Education Commission Sri Devasena participated in the program.  (Maxim News)
