57 KGs of Ganja Seized en Route from Andhra and Odisha to Hyderabad
Bhadrachalam/Hyderabad, Aug 6 (Maxim News): The State Excise Task Force intercepted a significant drug shipment today, seizing 57 kilograms of ganja being transported from Andhra Pradesh and Odisha to Hyderabad.

Arrest and Seizure
The operation led to the arrest of Tipparti Mukesh, a resident of LB Nagar, Hyderabad. Mukesh was apprehended by the Special Task Force while transporting the ganja in his vehicle. The seizure was carried out under the supervision of DSP Tirupati Yadav, working with the team of Director of Excise Enforcement VB Kamalasan Reddy.

Details of the Operation
Acting on a tip-off regarding a youth from Hyderabad transporting ganja from Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, DSP Tirupati Yadav’s team conducted a vehicle inspection near the Bhadrachalam Town Checkpost early this morning. The vehicle in question was found carrying 57 kilograms of ganja, which is estimated to be worth Rs. 50 lakhs.

Follow-Up and Recognition
The Khammam Enforcement team, led by CI Ramesh and SI, played a crucial role in the operation. The seized ganja was handed over to Bhadrachalam Excise CI Rahim Unnisa for further processing. Excise Commissioner Sridhar and Enforcement Director Kamalasan Reddy commended DSP Yadav and his team for their successful operation. (Maxim News)
