600 Vet Hospitals Modernized To Help Staff Treat Animals Immediately: Minister
Hyderabad, Oct.25 (Maxim News): Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today said the State government has modernized 600 Veterinary Hospitals in the State at a cost of Rs 12 crore to help officials and staff to provide immediate services to animals.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Friday, Srinivas Yadav said the State government has developed the infant State in just five years while the previous governments could not do it in 60 years. The modern veterinary hospitals with medicines and vans will provide on-the-spot services to cattle by calling 1962 toll free number, the minister said. He appealed to farmers to make use of the facilities in the hospitals.
The minister said the people have immense faith on Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s leadership and elected TRS nominee in Huzurnagar Assembly bypoll in the Congress bastion. He also said Yadavas in the State were getting sheep units on subsidy and improved their financial condition. Similarly, fishermen get fish free of cost to eke out their livelihood like never before, he said, adding that fishermen get fish, nets, equipment for fishing as part of the scheme to boost their financial condition.
Talasani also said the State government aims to fulfill aspirations of all people by pushing rural economy through community and professional development. (Maxim News)
