75 Percent Of The Ex-gratia Given To The Dead Is Given By Center: Kishan Reddy

Bhupalapalli/Hyderabad, July 29 (Maxim News):  BJP State President G. Kishan Reddy visited the Moranchapalli village which was hit by heavy rains and floods recently.

the BJP President inspected the flood-affected areas.  He visited the victims and heard their sufferings.  due to heavy rains, many villages were flooded and houses and roads were damaged.  The crops were washed away in the flood.

Later, he said that the state government has Rs. 900 crores under National Calamity, this amount is to support the victims in all ways. He said that the center has given 75 percent (3 lakhs) of the exgratia of Rs. 4 lakhs given to the deceased.  In addition to that, the state government demanded to give.  He said that it is the responsibility of everyone to support the victims in difficult situations.  The Central government will also support the victims.  Central teams will visit the flooded areas and assess the damage, he said.

Moranchapalli has not recovered even though the waters have subsided.  Residents of Moranchapalli have been living in the flood mud for two days.  due to heavy rains, many villages were submerged.  Houses and roads were damaged. 

The crops have been washed away by the flood and the villagers are waiting for help to wash away the mud.  On the other hand, relief operations are going on intensively in Moranchapalli.  Officials are conducting a house-to-house survey.  Vajramma and Mahalakshmi, who were lost in the rains, have not yet been found.  (Maxim News)
