8 MPs Suspended For Throwing Papers On Chair In Lok Sabha
Delhi/Hyderabad, Feb 3 (Maxim News) 8 MPs were suspended in the Lok Sabha today. This action was taken in the incident of tearing papers and throwing them on the chair. When Dilip Saikia was in the chair, the opposition Congress MPs tore papers and threw them, alleging that they were not given a microphone.
Those suspended include Manikam Tagore, Gureet Ojla, Raja Warring, AB Eden, Kiran Reddy and Venkat Raman. The Speaker condemned the throwing of papers on the chair. He said that it would be a violation of parliamentary decency. He said such incidents cannot be ignored in the Budget Session. After suspending 8 MPs, the Lok Sabha was adjourned till Wednesday.
