98 Indians Killed In Hajj: MEA

International media reports reveal that around a thousand people died on this trip. Pilgrims from different countries were among the dead. There were reports that 90 Indians (Indian pilgrims) also died on this trip.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) recently responded to this news. It was announced on Friday that 98 Indians lost their lives during Hajj. A total of 1,75,000 Indians have gone on Hajj this year. It said that these deaths were recorded due to natural causes. Every year many Indians go for Hajj. This year also 1,75,000 Indians visited Saudi for Hajj. 98 Indian pilgrims died in it. All of them died due to natural causes like illness and old age, the Ministry of External Affairs revealed.

Currently, the sun is shining in Saudi Arabia. Temperatures are being recorded like never before. Temperatures are currently above 50 degrees Celsius in Makkah. As a result, Hajj Pilgrims are suffering from the heat. Pilgrims are dying due to extreme heat. International media reported that 1,081 pilgrims from around 10 countries had died.
Saudi Hajj organizers revealed that around 18.3 lakh people participated in the Yatra this time, including 16 lakh people from 22 countries. Another two lakh people are said to be residents of Saudi Arabia. (Maxim News)
