HC Directed KCR Govt Not To Implement Kamareddy Master Plan Without Informing Court
Hyderabad: The High Court of Telangana has taken the hearing on the Kamareddy Master Plan and directed the Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao government not to take any decision in the master plan without informing the Court.
However, the Telangana government has told the Court that the state has put the master plan decision on hold. The High Court has impleaded another petition from the single bench in the division bench of the High Court and the next hearing has been postponed to April 17.
While in the division bench, the arguments were heard by the lawyer on behalf of K.A. Paul as a party in person. It is stated that the master plan was given the go-ahead without taking the farmer’s objections. It is known that the High Court had ordered the government’s decision on the master plan in the last hearing. The farmers of Kamareddy started a movement demanding the cancellation of the master plan. It is known that Prajashanthi party president KA paul filed a public interest litigation in the court in support of the farmers. The council has already canceled the master plan. (Maxim News)
