Over 15000 Complaints Received In 36 Hrs On Dog Menace In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Feb 24 (Maxim News): As claimed by the ruling BRS, Hyderabad has become an International city, the facilities being provided are world-class and it has become a place to live peacefully, this claim has been exposed as the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has received more than 15 thousand complaints in just 36 hours. According to this calculation, GHMC received 416 complaints per hour.

The dog problem in the city has worsened after the incident of Amberpet incident in which a 4-year-old boy was killed by dog bites. For the past two or three days, residents of the city have been complaining to the GHMC about the dog problem in their area.

According to the GHMC staff, they are attending 10 complaints every day in 30 circles of GHMC. It means that officers are solving only 300 complaints per day. Even though GHMC has shelter homes to conduct operations in five areas, citizens are expressing concern as only 150 operations are being conducted daily. (Maxim News)
