MLC Kavitha’s Phones Opened For Recovering Data: Lawyers Attended On Her Behalf

Delhi/Hyderabad, March 28 (Maxim News): As part of the Delhi Liquor Scam investigation, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials have opened the phones given by the Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter and BRS MLC Kavitha and are recovering data.

Tuesday, March 28, Kavitha sent lawyer Soma Bharat to the office of ED as her representative. Phones are being opened, ED officials informed Kavitha that she should attend, but she informed that she will not come, Lawyer Soma Bharat will attend as her representative as authorized. To this end, he went to the ED office in Delhi at 12 o’clock today.

On March 21, Kavitha, who attended the inquiry into the liquor scam, handed over the nine phones she had used to the authorities. Officials have not opened them till now. On March 28, with the help of the technical team, the authorities called Kavitha to attend to the time of taking out the data from those phones. But she did not attend, so she sent her representative. At present, the data recovery of Kavitha’s nine phones is going on in the ED office.

While attending the ED investigation on March 11, the officials questioned her about the phones. It was in this order she handed over when she attended the investigation on March 21. The data and other information in the phones will be collected in the presence of Kavitha’s lawyer Soma Bharat which will be examined. (Maxim News)
