Congress Fired On BJP For Promising Free Cylinders
Bangalore/Hyderabad, May 1 (Maxim News): Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee Chief D. K. Shivakumar has criticised the election manifesto released by the BJP for the Karnataka Assembly Elections. He said why the BJP which had said it would ban freebies, had given a guarantee of free LPG cylinders. He said that BJP has realised that it will be defeated in the Karnataka elections and now their hopes are on freebies.
He commented that BJP has completely failed and the strength of the party has been weakened. He made it clear that they stand by the common man and that the Congress party works for the welfare of the poor and the weaker sections. The BJP’s manifesto states that three LPG cylinders will be provided free of cost to families below the poverty line per year. BJP has promised to provide free half liter of nandini milk per day to deserving poor families and to make available Atal food centers in every ward.
