Mahatma Gandhi’s Grandson Arun Gandhi Passed Away

Kolhapur/Hyderabad, May 2 (Maxim News): Arun Gandhi, the grandson of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi, has breathed his last. He had been suffering from health problems for some time and passed away today in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Arun Gandhi’s son Tushar Gandhi revealed this.

89 year old Arun Gandhi was born on April 14, 1934 in Durban to Manilal Gandhi, the son of Mahatma Gandhi and Sushila Mashruwala. He became famous as a writer and social worker.

Arun Gandhi followed his grandfather’s footsteps as an activist. His last rites will be held in Kolhapur today. (Maxim News)
