Huge Amount Of Gold Seized At Shamshabad Airport

Hyderabad, May 2 (Maxim News) : A huge amount of gold was seized at Shamshabad Airport. Customs officials seized 269 grams of gold worth Rs. 16.5 lakh. The authorities arrested the accused who were smuggling gold by hiding it in chocolates. Customs officials revealed that two Dubai passengers have been arrested.

Recently, a huge amount of gold was seized at the Shamshabad international Airport. The customs authorities seized the gold smuggled by four women from Dubai. As the airport customs officials received information that some women passengers were smuggling gold in flight Ek 527 which arrived from Dubai to Shamshabad Airport.

Due to this, the luggage of the four female passengers who got off the plane were checked due to suspicion. Nothing was found in it. When the women were scanned, it was found that there were gold pellets in their private parts. so they were sent to the medical department and the gold pellets were taken out and seized after an operation. It weighed 3,175 grams. Its value is Rs. 94 lakhs . Case has been registered against the women. (Maxim News)
