Chandrayaan-3 Successfully Entered Into Orbit

Sriharikota/Hyderabad, July 14 (Maxim News): Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)’s most prestigious mission Chandrayaan-3 has successfully entered orbit.  At 2.35 pm after the LVM-3 M4 rocket launched from the second launch pad of Shaar in Sriharihota, Tirupati district, and successfully launched it into orbit.  After completing three stages, Chandrayaan-3 started its journey.

This highly powerful rocket flew into Ninggi carrying the lander, rover, and propulsion module.  Successfully completed the first two stages by igniting the payload on time. The third stage ignited the payload at 2.42 PM to head toward the Moon.  The scientists disclosed that these three phases were carried out smoothly according to the fixed plan. these steps are completed to bring the spacecraft to the required altitude.

ISRO Chairman Somnath announced that the third stage ended at 2.54 pm and the journey towards the moon started.  scientists said that its progress is going smoothly.  ISRO scientists celebrate as Chandrayaan-3 successfully enters orbit.

JOURNEY OF CHANDRAYAAN 3

Chandrayaan-3 with the lander, rover, and propulsion module will orbit the Earth for 24 days.  After that, the orbit is gradually increased.

Chandrayaan-3 will then be launched into a lunar transfer trajectory toward the moon.

The Lunar Orbit Insertion (LOI) process takes place after the spacecraft enters the Moon’s gravitational field.  In this specifically, the engine is ignited and Chandrayaan-3 slows down.  As a result, the force of gravity pulls it down.  since then it has been rotating in Chandranama orbit.

finally, it will be launched into an orbit around the moon at an altitude of 100 km.

On August 23 or 24, the module containing the lander and rover will separate from the population module.  it will rush towards the surface of the moon at a speed of 6 thousand kilometers per hour.  It gradually reduces the speed with the help of four engines.

ISRO revealed that the lander will land near the south pole of the moon at about 70 degrees south latitude.  (Maxim News)
